When the Pacific and the Central Valley get their heaviest rains of the year, the Caribbean does the opposite. It's not seasonal folklore: it's an atmospheric mechanism documented by the IMN. We walked the 3.2 km between Punta Uva and Manzanillo to see what's in that window — including a cargo ship run aground nine years ago that no one has removed.
